The ninth edition of the event, organized by Rino Gaetano Onlus to recall, as usual, the death of the brilliant singer, on Monday, 24 June at the Capannelle Hippodrome.

The RINO GAETANO DAY, held – in previous editions - in Piazza Sempione frame, change year date and location for reasons of public policy, but remains unchanged in intent: to a free and integral input event, an exciting journey, between images and songs, to remind Rino Gaetano in the city in which he lived and grew artistically, as if to greet a friend, a brother, through his greatest hits!

In the evening a concert by the RINO GAETANO BAND, Official cover band of Rino Gaetano, founded in 1999 his sister, Anna Gaetano, and in which he plays the grandson Alessandro. In twenty years of activity, the band has trod the stages of the whole peninsula, sharing unforgettable moments with the many fans who love and listen to the music of Gaetano, and especially with those who do not yet know, to spread his ideals, singing his songs full of humor and original ideas about life. almost 40 years after the untimely death of singer, some of his most significant songs will live on stage at the ROCK IN ROME, in a show-memorial that will trace the most important stages of the brief but intense artistic career as a character now entered the myth.

At the evening event, Moreover, attended by artists who have taken the cultural heritage of Rino and who choose to interpret a song or, anyway, to pay homage.

RINO GAETANO DAY, in the past eight editions, It has hosted several charities to support their social commitment and solidarity (among others, EMILIA affected by the earthquake, EPAC ONLUS, PETER PAN ONLUS, AISM, EMERGENCY, C.A.E.R. NGO CIVIL PROTECTION, ANVOLT ROMA). This musical event has always involved, next to the most famous artists such as Sergio Cammariere, Simon Webbe, Claudio Santamaria, Francesco Di Giacomo, Marco Ligabue, Pino teach, Mauro Casciari, Pierdavide Carone, Massimo Di Cataldo, Diana Tejera, Arturo Stalteri, Zibba, Babalot, Peppe Voltarelli, Wooden heads, Andrea Rivera and Daniele Luchetti, also young exponents of the new songwriting scene.
